OBO publishes 2025 Sustainability Report

The 2025 Sustainability Report from OBO Bettermann is now available. It provides an overview of the most important developments, measures and progress from last year and shows how OBO is refining the areas of governance, social affairs and the environment.

In 2025, OBO achieved additional milestones on its path to a more sustainable future. This included the project launch of the OBO EcoLine portfolio, using carbon-reduced steel and recycled materials. In addition, Product Carbon Footprints were calculated and published on the OBO website for nearly 30,000 products. The organisation was also strengthened by expanding the area of Product Compliance and Sustainability Management, establishing it permanently within the company.

Other important steps included joining the UN Global Compact, being awarded EcoVadis Gold status and holding an internal management training on the topic of sustainability-oriented leadership.

The report was created based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards. For the first time ever, key contents were audited by an external auditor – an important step towards transparent reporting.
