Meneghetti winery in Bale

General building information

For many years, the Meneghetti winery in the small Istrian community of Bale has been producing first-class wines, which the guests can sample in the hotel’s vineyard. The production of wine and olive oil started here over 20 years ago – and it has been so successful that a luxurious hotel complex has now been built next to the winery. In addition to the wine cellar and hotel, there is a selection of swimming pools, vineyards, olive groves and tasting rooms, over a total area of 15,000 square metres.

Why did the customer choose OBO products?

As part of this project, a new production area and wine cellar were built for the Meneghetti winery. The interesting thing: The wine cellar is half buried in the ground. For this challenging project, OBO supplied products from the areas of  Kabeltragsysteme  and Verbindungs- and Befestigungssysteme, . These were installed throughout the entire building and impressed the client with the high quality and design.
